Suranne Jones

Sarah Anne Jones (also known as Suranne Jones) is an English actor and producer. She has garnered fame for acting as Ruth Slater in the miniseries "Unforgiven," detective Rachel Bailey in the police procedural drama 'Scott & Bailey", as well as the role of GP Gemma Foster in the medical show 'Doctor Frank'. Originally from Chadderton, Greater Manchester, Jones was a member of The Oldham Theatre Workshop and received her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts at the Oldham Theatre Workshop. As a part of a stage production called Wait Until Dark, she played Gloria when she was just eight years old. She first appeared on screen in 1997 in an episode of 'Coronation Street'. In 2000, she returned to portray Karen McDonald. Her role was later cast as a variety of TV characters which included 'Vincent' 'Strictly confidential' and "Harley Street.' On the big screen she's appeared in films such as "Love and a Longshot", "Broken Hearts" as well as 'A Christmas Star'. Suranne Suranne Suranne
